Pret a Porter

A few nights ago, I was chatting with Mei on Yahoo Messenger a few nights ago. She's currently in Singapore working at Vickers Financial Group and modelling on the side. But she starts uni in Melbourne next year so she's been on the lookout for agencies over there.

Of course, no one wants to go to some dodgy agency so we started trowling the net. And being me, I decide to look up the agency via model. And the first one that came to mind was Erika Heynatz of Australia's Next Top Model fame. So I Googled her name and got the site; http://www.chicmanagement.com.au/

This is all very impressive. Maybe a little too impressive as they have the models' cards along with some of their photo shoots and their pertinent info. And Mei is considerably shorter. In fact, way shorter.

She's also thinking of entering the Guess Face of the Year competition, which, I may add is an international search. I took a look at some of the girls who've applied ffrom Singapore and may I just say one thing...HIDEOUS! I mean really. I don't even know why some of them bother, do they really think they are all that? Mei's been looking for a good photo to send in and this is one she's considering:

Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what the eventual winner of that competition winds up looking like. Oh, and I'm also very excited that there'll soon be a new season of America's Next Top Model. Meanwhile, I'm going to be very un-model-like and make Scott and myself hotdogs for dinner.
