Sales only?

So I went into Myer. And headed for Miss Shop. And looked at the stuff on sale. Naturally. But of course, there’s new stuff so one cannot help but to look at new stuff as well. And you know I’ve been on a mission to find that perfect black bag right? So I looked in the bag section. No perfect black bag, but I did see a very nice dark blue studded one. But I resisted. I even walked out and looked at some other stores [though I forgot to check Dotti once again]. On a side note, there was an okay black bag in Strandbags but not special enough.

Anyway, went back to Myer and decided to pick the bag up. And while I was already going to get a full price item, why not try on a drapey gray cardi as well? Also full price. Which looked very nice on. Its got long sleeves that are sort of nipped in/ruched at the wrist. I think it would look very nice with dark jeans. And it just so happens that I've finally got my new Ben Sherman's back from the tailor too. Happy days!!!!

2 New Friends

I treated myself to a bday shop. Actually it started this way; I went to Myer during my lunch break as I had passed through over the weekend and seen some rather nice things on sale. Since I hadn't had the time over the weekend, I went yesterday. There wasn't anything I liked enough to try on so I moved on to the bag section.

I've been meaning to get a new black bag for some time. I want something that's trendy, but classic enough so that it won't date. I want something big enough for at least a 700 page book, but not so huge its always knocking things over. You know, its really not that easy finding one like that. Oh, and in the right prace range too, of course.

So I meander out of the bag section and on into shoes. Now, I just figured it'll be nice to look. Everyone knows I can't find shoes to fit here so naturally, there was no danget in me taking a stroll. And there was no danger in me checking out the size 5 - 61/2 shelf either, there's never and size 5 anyway. There were...in 2 seperate pairs of shoes as well. I wound up buying both. One is a brown and bronze peep-toe and the other a dark bronze platform. The guilt hasn't killed me...yet. I will start saving, I swear it. I still have my eyes to Lasik at the end of the year.
