Nic in Vogue December 2006

Nicole Kidman that is, not Richie. And may I say, Ms Kidman is looking more gorgeous than ever. I am loving the medieval theme of this shoot, but then again, I've always loved the idea of this era. Plus I think its also a bit of an 'up yours' deal to the whole Tomkat wedding thing going on this weekend.

Sex on Legs

I think the first time Hollywood sat up and noticed Monica Bellucci was in The Matrix Reloaded. Of course, she was already a big star in native Italy with hits like Malena. I also managed to catch French film Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra on Foxtel, with Monica playing Cleo. And she was fantastic. To date, she has had roles in other Hollywood movies like Tears of the Sun and Brothers Grimm, and new movie Shoot 'em Up with Clive Owen and Paul Giametti. Although the latter won't be out till 2007, Monica has started doing the publicity rounds for it. Here are the shots she did for the November 2006 issue of Italian GQ.

Dark Diaz

I know I'm always saying I'm not a fan or so-and-so, but while I do like Cameron Diaz in Charlie's Angels, I'm not big on her in anything else, though she wasn't that bag in Gangs of New York. I suppose its partly because she always seems to be physically lashing out at the paps (okay, I can understand why, but all celebs need exposure). Plus she just doesn't seem all that hot to me. I think Drew Barrymore is a lot prettier and Lucy Liu a lot sexier.

But anyway, Cameron has been sporting this brunette look for a few months now and I think it suits her a lot better than blonde hair. She looks a lot less ditzy and a lot more sultry/mysterious. I know these photos from W Magazine have probably been airbrushed within an inch of their lives as everyone knows that Cameron has bad skin. But hey, mine isn't all that great either so who am I to talk, right? But I think she actually looks pretty in these so I'm posting them.

Bond Girl

Eva Green was a relativey unknown name in the movie industry till around 2005 when she did Kingdom of Heaven with Orlando Bloom. While the movie itself wasn't very memorable, it did earn Eva just enough attention to put her in the contention for the role of the latest Bond girl, Vesper Lynd in the remake of Casino Royale. This is a very big thing for a model-turned-actress, but many say she only got the role because many other famous A-listers had turned it down. Whether or not this is true, Eva will certainly be propelled into the bright lights and big names after this.

Chair-woman

I don't know where these were originally taken from but found them posted on http://www.idontlikeyouinthatway.com just had to put them up here. I love the dress and while I usually love the fancier shoots, its the simplicity of this one that caught my eye. Plus the fact the Angie looks absolutely hot. All she is doing is sitting and posing in a chair. But she nails shot after shot. The girls on ANTM could learn a thing or two from her.
